Terroirs: Montagne de Reims: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Ludes Premier Cru (Les Hautes Plantes, Champs des Dames, St Mards, Vignes Saint Jean, Les Noues), Ormes (Les Montées).
Vallée de la Marne: Meunier and Chardonnay from Mareuil le Port (Les Mizis, Maisoncelle, La Côte aux Châtaigniers).

Blending: 30% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 35% Pinot Meunier including 30% of wines from perpetual blending system - aged in half-muids (600 liters).

Vinification:60% in wooden oaks - 40% in small vats - slow fermentation - « Prise de mousse » (second alcoholic fermentation): under metal crown caps. Aging on laths: 24 months.

Wine characteristics: This wine is produced from 3 different grape varieties, 1/3 of each.
The strongest identities of each terroir are only selected to get a very balanced blending.
The cold flexibility of the Pinot Meunier from the Vallée de la Marne combined with the mineral precision from the terroir of Ludes and the Pinots from sandy-limestone terroirs from Ormes give complexity, richness and length to this cuvée.
The 30% of reserve wines (perpetual blending system) ensure the style and the wine’s maturation process while respecting the base year.
