The fruit comes from ‘Robert Surmann’s Vineyard’ is in Totness and has Black Sandy soil on petrified schist, it is V.S.P. Trained and spur pruned. We converted Rob's farm to organic’s 8 years ago and now the vineyard is enlivened and amazing.

100% whole bunch carbonic fermented for 10 days. Then pressed to 500L barrels and aged (the wine is make of the free run component only). Notes: Arustic variety with deep rich vibrant colour. The briar juices pours over shaved I on a warm summer day, and the sweet smell of picking brambles and boysenberries and tasting them fresh. The delectable dark red juice coating your mouth while its acidity explodes fresh earthy tannin plucking goosebumps onto your tongue. 10.5% alc/vol.

All our wines are made ‘naturally’ without and additions until their bottling, when we add minimal sulphur.
