A stunning example of good value, good quality Pinot Noir from the East Coast of Tasmania. Tasmanian local and winemaker Ricky Evans sees this parcel of fruit as a different expression of Pinot Noir compared to that of his home vineyard in the Tamar Valley. The East Coast is far more maritime in climate, generally cooler in temperature, but less diurnal shift (day to night temperature variation). The resulting wine is lighter in body, lively and refreshing. A little lick of whole bunch for complexity and we are all happy campers when it comes to this wine. Get it while it lasts. - Chris L
